Event description

Description

Following an introduction by Dr Patrick Glen from University College London, we will screen Victim (1961), a film illustrating influential viewpoints that led to the Sexual Offences Act (1967). Following the screening take part in a discussion drawing on LGBTQ+ voices that contributed to AHRC funded primary historical research on 1960s cinema-goers. Part of our Never Going Underground season, a year long programme of exhibitions, events and learning programmes exploring the past, present and future of LGBT+ activism.
