Step back in time and walk in the footsteps of literary legend Victor Hugo on this expertly guided tour through the historic streets of St Peter Port, led by the inimitable Keith Pengelley.

Join us as Keith shares fascinating insights into Hugo’s life, works, and deep connection to Guernsey – from his exile to the inspirations behind Les Misérables and Toilers of the Sea. This immersive walking tour will take you through key Hugo-related landmarks and hidden corners of the capital, all brought to life with Keith’s trademark wit and historical knowledge.

The tour begins and concludes at our unique Vivier Bunker Distillery, home to Channel Islands Liquor Co. Tucked within a repurposed WWII German bunker overlooking the harbour, you’ll enjoy a guided distillery tour and a tasting of our small-batch gins and rums infused with locally foraged botanicals.
