• 4 out of 5 shoppers say a video showing how a product or service works is important.
Maximise the potential of video for your business.
Improve your reach and grow your audience online using video. Whether you're looking for some Twitter temptation, Instagram interest or YouTube appeal, we'll help you understand your audiences and the platforms they use to help you communicate more effectively.
What will I learn?
This workshop will help you plan, shoot and edit video for the web. It's practical - you'll film and be filmed, learning hands-on throughout the day. You'll practice fast and effective storytelling while improving skills like framing and exposure as well as getting to grips with powerful editing software on your phone or tablet.
You don't have to be a blockbuster director or have a Hollywood budget - just bring your phone and an appetite to make great films and we'll guide you through the process from start to finish. You'll leave empowered to make video to tell stories to help you share your message and grow your business.
Attendees should bring the equipment that they intend to use for filmmaking - Apple iPhones, iPads, or Android Samsung's, LG's, HTC's, Sony's - whatever you have to hand. Unfortunately, Windows phones and tablets are not supported as the apps aren’t available.
If bringing an iOS device, attendees should pre-install iMovie (https://goo.gl/9gqzhV).
If bringing and Android device, Kinemaster (https://goo.gl/1BxTVc) and Open Camera (https://goo.gl/ObJEsm) should be pre-installed.
Pre-installing of these applications really helps as they can be quite big downloads and Network / WiFi Coverage is hard to guarantee.
To help you make the most of the workshop, please ensure your device is fully charged and bring your charger with you.
