Join our resident history enthusiast for an immersive story time and leathercraft session, all about the history of Vikings on the Fylde Coast
The year is 1025.
King Canute has been on the throne for 8 years and Scandinavians and Anglo Saxons are living at peace once more.
We are living in the Danelaw on the west side of the Pennines, on a crossroads of the old trade routes using the ancient roman roads and the rivers.
What is life like for the families living in the Danelaw? Join us for an immersive storytime session, followed by the opportunity to create a leather bracelet by plaiting and pick a rune for your name which can be drawn onto the bracelet. Or alternatively make a little leather pouch
