Event description

Description

After two sell-out performances in 2013 and 2015, Viktor Bijelovic makes a very welcome return to this year's West End Festival in Glasgow.

Serbian-born, Viktor came to London in 1992 to study at the Purcell School of Music and then continued his studies at the Royal Academy of Music, gaining a BMus in 2003, an MMus in 2005 and winning the Harold Caxton Prize in 2004.

Winner of several prestigious international competitions, he has performed in many important venues including Sadler's Wells, The Salle Gaveau Concert Hall in Paris and the Kolarac Concert hall in Belgrade. Viktor has also performed twice for HRH Prince Charles; once at Buckingham Palace on the occassion of the Prince's 50th birthday and again in May 2006 to inaugurate the Tent of Peace at St Ethelburga's in London.

Viktor's concerts are a joy. Before each piece, in his engaging and friendly manner, Viktor gives a little explanation of, or background to, the music and its composition. If you followed this link from the West End Festival Programme, please be aware that the price of the full ticket is £12 (with no additional booking fee) and not £10 as stated in the Programme. That was a misprint for which the organisers of the WEF would like to apologise.
