Event description

Description

Pets As Therapy is a charity founded in 1983 by Lesley Scott-Ordish. They enhance well-being in the community through their volunteers with their behaviourally assessed animals. They provide a visiting service in hospitals, hospices, nursing and care homes, special needs schools and venues all across the United Kingdom.

We will be having one of their representatives at our St Johns Wood practice on October 4th at 7pm providing information on the great community work by the charity and the means to get involved in their endeavours. You can also find out how you can get your pet involved with the charity.

Millie, a Jack Russell, who is helping children learn to read and received extensive coverage in The Independent, will be making an appearance at this event.

Stop by for free refreshments and nibbles to gain some insight on how Pets As Therapy works. We are hoping to raise funds for this remarkable charity and would be thankful if you can contribute.

For any other information, please contact Sean Elliott at Village Vet on 0207 372 7077.
