Vineyard Experience: Tour and Wine Tasting at Hanwell Wine Estate

Hanwell Wine Estate’s Vineyard Experience comprises of:

• On arrival check in at the bar, serves hot and cold drinks and wine by the glass
• Our Story: Tales of Nottinghamshire vineyard life since 1970.
• Vineyard: We’ll guide you along the gently sloping meadow path 100 metres into the vineyard. Here you’ll sit for an introduction to the vineyard year.
• Tutored wine tasting to include 6 family made wines
• • If you don’t drink wine but would like to enjoy the experience with friends then there is a non-alcoholic drinks selection and quiz available to challenge your taste buds, please let us know at check in
  • • Taster sample sizes vary as they are hand poured, we aim for around 30mls each except International award-winning dessert wine ‘North Star’ which is a 15mls sample.
• Tour frequency increases from April through to September, usually on Friday, Saturday and Sunday

  • 1 minute’s drive from the A46 Fosse Way, on the A606 Melton Road, heading towards Melton Mowbray.
  • • We suggest booking a Notts Bus On Demand, taxi or organising a lift if you want to enjoy our wines.
    • We recommend collection 2 hours after the start time unless you are extending your visit with food, then add another hour.
