MORE ABOUT THE ACTS:

T.I.G.Y.

tigymusic.com

T.I.G.Y. (thoughts I give you) is an alt-dream pop adaptation of a diary left behind and brought to life by singer and lyricist, Bailey Tzuke, and musician/composer Matthew Racher. They take inspiration from poetry, introspection and past emotion to create an ethereal conversation relevant to contemporary pain, confusion and uncertainty. The diary, titled ‘thoughts I give you', was penned by Bailey’s late aunt before it became a posthumous means of connection and mused the duo’s debut single, Only Way to Let the Light In, in 2021. Their debut EP ‘Sunny Dog Days’, released in 2022 is an introspective introduction to the duo that was forged in collaboration with producer Cameron Blackwood (Baby Queen, Billie Marten, George Ezra, Eaves & Gavin James) that tells stories of hearts and minds, motherhood, troubling times, nature and complicated love. T.I.G.Y have supported the likes of Nerina Pallot, Rumer and Jack Savoretti as well as headlining their own shows in London, Guildford, Reading, Farnham and Bath and festival slots at Unfold at The Unfold, Ripley Rocks and Lock Stock…

All of their releases have been supported by BBC Introducing (including spins from Melita Dennett and Jo Whiley at Radio 2) who have described them as… ‘Dreamy, halcyon pop from generations past to generations future…’ And they were BBC Introducing’s first Live Lounge guests of 2023!

HERON ISLAND

Instagram - @heron.island

Heron Island is an indie-folk project comprised of Chaz Thorogood and Giles Nuttall - two friends and musicians who grew up by the sea in south Devon and have come together to create honest music they love. Built around melodic guitar and raw vocals, it is music for being outdoors, for self-reflection and growth, for travelling and returning home - all recorded off-grid in a houseboat on the River Avon.

Chaz and Giles reached Heron Island via two different routes. Chaz has spent the last decade successfully releasing music under his solo project (Chaz Thorogood) whilst playing with artists such as Lulu, Judie Tzuke and The Lighthouse Family in festivals and world tours. At the same time, Giles moved to the Swiss Alps and forged a path across the mountains in apres ski bands, whilst writing with and recording for up-and-coming artists in Switzerland.

All paths lead home and the pair felt the time was right to bring together their years of experience and passion for authentic music, and to create something which truly reflected them. Heron Island is just that.
