About this Event

As the world continues to adapt to COVID-19’s global impact, the situations with global trades and with starting businesses abroad inevitably change with it. The challenge for businesses in the UK is to navigate the reality those changes bring while balancing business and social objectives for global consumers and stakeholders alike. While some global trades and partnerships can be continued virtually, other industries have seen a harder hit on outputs and revenue - businesses must pivot their global strategies to ensure that, once the crisis is over, they’ll be in a better position to recover – or continue – growth.

Connections Cafes look to explore developments and opportunities in the built environment and mobility services that enable new levels of physical, digital and social connectedness. They offer support and guidance to growing businesses to help them bridge the gap between new innovations and commercial success.

We welcome all SMEs and businesses who work within these exciting sectors.

In this Connections café you will hear from some of our international partners from around the world, who will present the latest insights on global market landscapes and opportunities for UK businesses who are considering trading or starting a business abroad.

We have a fantastic array of speakers lined up, including:

Luis Callete, Managing Director at Mexico-UK Business Council

Tom Williams, Director of Technology and Innovation at Ascendal Group
