Session overview

This webinar will focus on Virtual Consultations and Equity of Access and how we can provide tailored support to those for whom virtual consultations may seem unattractive/challenging.

We do not expect to provide solutions and answers to every challenge raised during this webinar – however, our aim is to help:

Colleagues in trusts hear from others, share tips of what works in practice
Build a community of colleagues working on similar challenges
For common issues that are not resolved- provide a strong platform for these issues to be highlighted and escalated

Format

There will be a brief presentation at the start of the session to introduce this topic, after which four services will speak about their experience of using virtual consultations and equity of access, sharing key challenges and tips for what works in practice. This will be followed by a Q&A, an opportunity to share learning and address common challenges.

The session will be held on MS Teams and you will require a link to join. This will be circulated to all registered participants 24 hours before the event starts.

About the series

This webinar is hosted by the London AHSNs (UCLPartners, Health Innovation Network and Imperial College Health Partners) aiming to provide an opportunity for London Trusts to share their experience around the deployment and optimisation of Virtual Consultations. All resources will be made available on the FutureNHS Platform shortly after the webinar.
