It’s one of life’s greatest consolations, and one of its trickiest arts: friendship. This Virtual Conversation Evening offers a warm and welcoming space to meet fellow members of The School of Life community and to explore, together, what it means to be a friend.
After a short introduction from one of our faculty, you’ll be gently guided into small, rotating group discussions, each centred on a different question about friendship: how it begins, how we sustain it, how we open up, and what we hope to receive (and offer) in return. It’s an evening designed not just for introspection, but for genuine connection, a rare opportunity to meet other members who are thoughtful, emotionally curious, and up for discussing the things that matter.
We believe that good conversation is one of the greatest tools for self-understanding and, just as importantly, for finding kindred spirits. Whether you arrive online feeling unsure or raring to go, you’ll leave having shared a laugh, a few stories, and perhaps even the beginnings of a new friendship.
