The Virtual Health and Well-Being Summit: Navigating the Path to Better Health Across the Lifespan...

responds to the growing need for inclusive, innovative, and sustainable approaches to ageing and health in the digital era. As populations age and technology rapidly evolves, the health and well-being landscape is being redefined across clinical, workplace, and community settings.

This summit, hosted by Anglia Ruskin University’s Faculty of Business and Law, offers a unique platform for interdisciplinary exchange. It brings together leading researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and technology developers to explore the intersection of ageing, digital innovation, and workplace/societal health and well-being. The goal is to identify and promote evidence-based strategies that improve quality of life and health outcomes across the lifespan.

By examining the role of emerging technologies such as AI and other virtual health tools, the summit will spotlight digital solutions that support independent living, bridge healthcare gaps, and foster resilience among older populations. Discussions will also centre on building age-friendly workplaces and communities, supporting mental well-being, and addressing the broader ecological and societal factors shaping health in later life.

Aligned with ARU’s research priorities in health performance and well-being, this international hybrid event invites collaboration and actionable dialogue that will inform practice, influence policy, and inspire innovation.
