Event Details

From designing inspiring and creative spaces that move people to the economic impact it has had on cities, this session will cover the growth and new business lines of the We Generation (WeWork, WeLive, Rise, and even WeGrow).

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Marta Rocamora, Community director for WeWork Spain, just landed in Madrid a little over  6 months ago to open the Spanish Market for WeWork. After doing it for the past two years in Canada, she left an active community of more than 3000 creators and innovators only to open already 4 Locations in both Madrid and Barcelona. Each step of her professional career reflects her international and creative lifestyle, she lived in major cities such as Madrid, London, Montreal and Paris making her an ideal leader to build diverse communities and multicultural teams.

Before joining WeWork, she used to work at Cirque du Soleil directly hand in hand with the Head of Creativity, where she consolidated her passion for mixing creativity and business. It was through her bachelor degree in international commerce at McGill that she really grasped the impact entrepreneurship and business can have in cities and organizational behaviors. Ultimately, when you are not afraid to reinvent business models, you seize the opportunity of creating the positive impact in people.
