VIRTUAL May 2022 Charity Marketing Peer Support Group
Event Information
How to increase the reach of your social media posts
About this event
Our Charity Marketing Peer Support Group brings together marketers in the charity sector to learn and support each other. It’s completely FREE and runs for 2 hours via zoom. Once you sign up to the event, we will email you the log in details you need.
This month, we are delighted to be joined by Becs Bate from Social Media Executive who is going to be sharing her top tips on how to grow the reach of your social media posts. If you're struggling to understand why some social media posts reach very few people and yet the odd one reaches thousands, then Becs is going to explain why. Most of us, unwittingly, make social media content mistakes on a regular basis. Even the best, most informative, social media posts can reach very few people. Becs is going to help us all understand the algorithms (the "robots" as she calls them), that determine who our posts are shared to. She'll be running through some Dos and Don'ts when it comes to creating content and what you should be doing to create engaging posts that reach far and wide.
Becs Bate is a social media consultant and has trained over 500 businesses in the last three years achieving fantastic results through organic reach with the clients she’s supported, receiving over 120 five star reviews. She started off her career working in the voluntary sector and has trained and supported a wide range of charities on social media.
The second hour is facilitated networking where you can bring your challenges to discuss with your peers. This time always provides some fantastic support for the charities that attend. We look forward to seeing you there
You can also join our private Facebook group where you will be able to continue to network and share ideas together.
Our free Charity Marketing Peer Support Group is organised by the team at JG Creative and The Charity Academy. Between us we help charities and not-for-profits communicate brilliantly through their brand, writing and materials. Our monthly groups share our skills and showcase best practice from the sector through presentations from leading charities.
