We will finish with a Q&A session during which you can ask questions about our Level 2 course as well as counselling training in general.

If you are interested in starting a career in counselling, learning some counselling skills or improving your communication skills please join us virtually on 18th December to find out how our course can help you.

Organiser CARE TO LISTEN

Organiser of Virtual Open Morning - CPCAB Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills

As a small, successful non-profit organisation, Care To Listen is proud of the contribution our organisation has made in supporting mental health within the community. At a time when awareness of mental health issues is becoming more mainstream - particularly with the positive support the issue has received via the platforms used by the Royal Family to raise awareness and remove the stigma of this illness - our single aim is to support that awareness, remove the stigma and help people feel better. Our work is supported by the NHS and local health institutions alike; a great achievement for our organisation since it started 12 years ago.

Our presiding ethos is to provide a service that is affordable and accessible to all, ensuring that clients from all backgrounds; gender, ethnicity, disability, employment status and financial status could engage in therapy, and we continually look for new ways to introduce the idea of counselling and therapy for hard to reach and sceptical clients, for example, we have recently introduced an Art Therapy room and sessions, both of which are proving to be very popular.

Our latest initiative is the  Care To Listen School of Counselling, which will be inaugurated in December 2019, with its first intake of students in January 2020

Care To Listen is a BACP (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy) accredited service.

Our ethos that counselling should be affordable and available to all, irrespective of financial status, ethnicity, gender or religion.
