Part 1: Virtual Reality for Business
Are you excited about VR and are not sure how to make it part of your business marketing and communication mix?
This two hour workshop is exactly what you need. You’ll fast track through the different typology of VR experiences, learning about real case studies of VR in business, and creating your first VR content that you’ll be able to share with your boss (and your friends).

- Hardware and software landscape to generate and consume content
- Hands-on lab: how to create, edit and publish your own photo spheres and watch them in Google Cardboard
- Introduction to 360 video and 3D virtual tours
Each attendee will receive a Google Cardboard kit as part of the workshop. Participants are invited to bring their own smartphones and / or tablets for the hands-on session.
About the instructor
Paolo Tosolini is the founder of Tosolini Productions, a Seattle based digital agency specialized in business storytelling through emerging technologies, including interactive touch displays, VR, 3D Virtual Tours and 360 media.
We first met Paolo when he was New Media Business Manager at Microsoft in the US, where he was regarded as subject matter expert and led new media initiatives.
He launched and ran Academy Mobile (first of its kind SharePoint-based social media enterprise platform) utilized by employees to exchange confidential knowledge, best practices and communications via online audio/video.
He led Academy Mobile to 8 industry accolades, including 2008 Digital Marketing Excellence Award presented by Microsoft CEO.
Now he works extensively with Microsoft on using virtual reality in their marketign and internal communications.
