Online event
Join a virtual workshop for people who live in Midlothian to share what you want from Dalkeith town centre today.
About this event
Midlothian Council is updating the regeneration masterplan for Dalkeith, informed by a new vision for the town centre. We want to work with Midlothian communities to shape Stage 2 of this masterplan.
After COVID-19 we started working in different ways and wanted different things from our local town centres. We want to build on what you said in previous consultations in 2016 and understand what people want from Dalkeith town centre today.
Midlothian Council and People Powered Results will be listening to people who live and work in Midlothian about their vision for the future of Dalkeith town centre. These views will inform an updated, Stage 2 masterplan for the town centre that is being developed.
This is the first of three virtual workshops that will take place over May and June 2022, and you're welcome to join the workshop that feels most appropriate for you:
- 31st May (12-1.30pm): virtual workshop for people who live in Midlothian
- 7th June (12-1.30pm): virtual workshop for people who support Midlothian communities (for example staff in the Council, voluntary sector, health and care and emergency services)
- 10 June 10-11.30am: virtual workshop for people who work in businesses in Midlothian
The event will take place on Zoom, and we'll share more details closer to the date. If you have any accessibility requirements, please get in touch with elena.sabatini@nesta.org.uk.
