About this event
SEND Drop In Event
For: Universal EYFS* (excluding Schools and OOS)
*Universal EYFS = All Practitioners working with EYFS children in a Day Nursery, Pre-School, or as a Childminder
Live Event - Various Dates in the Autumn Term
This is an opportunity for all Early Years Practitioners and childminders to speak with a range of professionals and receive advice regarding children within your setting who may be presenting with initial concerns.
This is an essential step required before applying for Inclusion Funding and to enable you to seek advice as to whether further early years referrals may be required.
A 30 minute time slot will be allocated per setting (to a maximum of two children per setting) one week prior to the event following the completion of the 'SEND Drop in additional information form'. The completion of this form is mandatory and is essential for the professionals to best support your setting. A link to the form can be found in the confirmation email you receive from Eventbrite when you complete your booking. Please complete the form and click 'submit'.
The 'SEND Drop in additional information form' must be completed and submitted no later than two weeks before SEND Drop In Event.
You will receive a MS Teams link with an allocated time slot when and only if you submit the additional information form by two weeks before SEND Drop In Event, you will need to log in at your allocated time.
If you submit the additional information form two weeks before the SEND Drop In Event and you attend at your allocated time we will return the £10 you paid at the point of booking.
Unfortunately if you do not return the form by two weeks before the SEND Drop In Event you will not be allocated a time slot and you will forfeit the £10.
A link to the 'additional information form' that you must complete is contained in the confirmation email that you receive from Eventbrite as soon as you make a booking.
