Calling all Qualified Social Workers!

Connect2Luton in partnership with Luton Council are holding a Virtual Recruitment Event for Social Workers looking to join Luton Children’s Services.

We are holding two sessions throughout the day on the 24th February, the first session will be at 7.30-9.30am and the second session 5-7pm.

The event is a chance to learn more about children’s services in the borough, speak to current social work staff, hear from Allison Parkinson Service Director, Children’s Operations about our journey and to find out more about the opportunities for career progression within the Council.

There are currently a number of opportunities for experienced social workers within Luton Children’s Services and there are many reasons to work for Luton. We are at the forefront of positive change in social practice across the borough.

As well as guest speakers, we are also holding a FREE 30 minute CPD workshop for you to attend.

Please join us to get a real feel for what life is like in Luton and to hear about the improvement journey we are on which, we would love to share with you.

The event will be hosted via Microsoft Teams. It can be accessed via a web browser but downloading the Teams app before the event starts will give you the best functionality.
