Virtual Teaching Assistant Workshop (VTAW)

The half-day VTAW workshop covers the core expectations and requirements of teaching assistants, assertiveness and differentiation guidance, and includes key elements of the Behaviour Management workshop with a view to TAs being able to support teachers in creating and maintaining positive learning environments. Key skills and qualities for the job are evaluated and a range of useful resources are supplied.

Continuous Professional Development: As a Simply Education teacher you will have access to the support offered by our dedicated Education Development Managers.

 A web-link to the Zoom webinar will be sent to you (after you book on to the training through Eventbrite), along with an email explaining the format of the training, and an attachment to be read beforehand. You will also be sent some follow-up documents summarising key aspects of the webinar.

The Zoom invite will be sent by email 24 - 48 hours before the webinar is due to take place (PLEASE check your JUNK MAIL folder if you do not receive it by the start of the week in which the training takes place). For late bookers, the link will be sent again just before the training starts. Any issues, please contact me at least 30 minutes before the start of the course.
