Build Skills for Your Future

Step into the world of work and boost your employability in one interactive day. This virtual experience is designed for Year 12–13 students (ages 16–17) who want to understand what employers look for and how to stand out.

You’ll explore your personal strengths, learn how recruitment really works, and practise building a strong personal brand. Through engaging activities and a live job simulation, you’ll experience teamwork, problem solving, and decision‑making—skills that matter in every career. Our colleagues will share insider tips on CV writing, interviews, and assessment centres, giving you confidence for future applications.

No prior experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to join in. After the session, you’ll take away practical resources and links to further opportunities via our Imagine What’s Next hub.

Format: Live online, with breakout activities. Laptop and internet required. Zoom link will be sent to you within seven days of the event start.
