Virtual Workshop - Thinking Outside the Boxes: a holistic approach
Event Information
About this event
As unfashionable as it is to say it, creating an inclusive culture in your organisation relies on understanding the complexity of the underlying issues that prevent robust change. Leaders who care about inclusion therefore need new, sharper tools to make this a reality.
What we do know is that the mainstream paradigm that silos people’s identities is redundant (you know, the common refrain that says: let's focus on "gender" first, and then when that's "done" we can look into race). To be effective, we need to deploy thinking that emphasises people’s complexities over the simplicity of fictitious identity silos. We need to smash the silos.
Only then will our solutions be effective and sustainable.
This workshop will deploy our unique participative and experiential approach and will be an introduction to how leaders who care about making inclusion happen can sharpen their thinking outside of and across inclusion silos as you design and lead on making inclusion a reality.
Please note that this is not a webinar. Our workshop is experiential and involves active participation and dialogue. If you feel uncomfortable having your camera on, or do not have video capabilities, that is fine - you will need a microphone/audio features or be able to type to ensure a fulsome learning experience.
For further information related to the accessibility of this virtual workshop, please review this document.
Please note: each organisation may purchase up to 3 tickets per workshop. This is to allow for individuals or organisations with limited resources to build their inclusion skills, and to ensure multiple perspectives and dynamism
