This is a block of 10 creative arts workshops that will be delivered by VisAbility Arts.
What’s our aim. This is a creative art course for adults (16+) with learning disabilities. It empowers creativity, encourages widening of the artistic horizons, and fosters inclusive and friendly environment.
What we are going to do. We will be drawing, collaging, painting, claying, prompting AI, and doing other interesting work during our 10 week course in a studio at Langloch Farm in Lanark. Our final workshop will be on 28 November 2025, and it will include a display and celebration of the work of all the participants.
Who it is for. The course is specially tailored for adults (16+) with learning disabilities. The work will be carried out in a small group.
Our dedicated tutors are experienced in supporting individuals with ASN. Please note, however, that we do not offer care during the sessions.
What’s included. All materials are included, but participants are welcome to bring their own if wanted.
Sessions will include warm up/scrap booking, snack break, and a piece (or more, if there’s energy and a desire) of themed work.
Course dates and times. Fridays 2-4 pm, 19 September- 28 November 2025
No classes on 17 October
Cost. The entire block of 10 sessions - £ 150. No booking fee is taken.
