Visible Mending for Clothes - Free Workshop

Join us at our Pop-Up Reuse shop event at Wallsend Forum w/c 3rd November to celebrate all things reuse and repurpose.

On Wednesday 5 November, we will be running free clothing repair workshops throughout the day, teaching you how to mend and transform old items of clothing into exciting pieces you'll want to wear again and again.

Using visible mending techniques such as Sashiko, learn how to:-

• Repair holes and tears in your clothes using decorative stitches
• Cover stains with colourful patches
• Give old items a new lease of life!

Either bring your own items to mend or use our samples to learn. All materials (needles, thread, scissors, patches, etc.) will be provided. The workshops are open to all - no sewing experience needed, just enthusiasm!
