Event description

Description

Can Britain lead an innovative and sustainable future in a competitive global marketplace?

Vision10 is an exciting initiative created to shape and support a low carbon industrial strategy for the UK. Vision10 brings together policy makers, senior commentators, business leaders and Parliamentarians to examine the climate change challenge facing the UK and promote innovative low carbon solutions which will work to deliver a green and clean industrial strategy for the UK.

This session will draw evidence from organisations, members of parliamentary and public bodies and contribute towards the Vision10 report (to be produced mid-2018).

This section will discuss, as Britain prepares to leave the European Union, how it can lead the global marketplace in sustainability and innovation.

We are delighted to welcome the following speakers to the session:

Sir Vince Cable MP, Leader, Liberal Democrats

Professor Paul Ekins, Director of the UCL Institute for Sustainable Resources, University College London

Angela Francis, Chief Economist, Green Alliance

Dr Ben Caldecott, Director, Sustainable Finance Programme, Oxford's Smith School (TBC)

We look forward to welcoming you.
