Welcome to the first RCOT - SSNP Virtual Conference curated jointly by the Stroke, Brain Injury & Long Term Conditions Forums.
About this event
For this year's conference, we wanted to focus on Neuro Occupational Therapy as it stands in 2021 and most importantly look ahead to future developments and delivery. This will be a brilliant opportunity to challenge your clinical reasoning and enhance your professional practice.
For those of us working in Neuro Occupational Therapy , we have had to completely rethink the way we are able to deliver sessions and provide the much needed help our patients require. While some of our more traditional practices may make a return as we continue to work in a less restricted environment, we may also decide to keep some of the adaptations we have made to to our practice as we continue to find a new way forward
We are delighted to be welcoming at least 10 different speakers across the two day event, all whom of which are experts in their field.
They will be covering 8 different sessions that will focus on the following:
- Vestibular Issues
- Sensory Integration in Brain Injury
- Driving
- Vocational Rehabilitation
- OT Consensus Guidelines for Functional Neurological Disorder
- Perceive Recall Plan & Perform System of Task Analysis in Neurology
- Sleep Difficulties in Neurology
The conference will be held online to allow as many of our Neurological Practice colleagues to attend as possible.
