Explore Clifton Woods: A Guided Walk to the Young Giant Sequoias (Sequoiadendron giganteum)

Join Nottingham City Council’s Park Rangers for a guided walk through Clifton Woods, one of the city’s most ecologically rich and historic woodlands. This walk will highlight two young Giant Sequoia trees — impressive and unusual additions to the local landscape.

Along the way, we’ll explore the woodland’s natural features, discuss its management and biodiversity, and take time to appreciate the role of these iconic trees in the wider ecosystem.

Please note: This walk includes uneven terrain, moderate inclines. A reasonable level of fitness is recommended.
