Welcome back

We have made a few changes to make your visit to the Rylands enjoyable and safe.

Opening times

Thursday to Saturday, 10am-5pm, last entry will be 4:30pm.


· Admission to the Rylands remains free.

· All visitors must book a timed entry ticket to manage capacity and ensure visitors can keep a safe distance apart. Bookings are currently available until 30th October 2021.

· Up to six tickets can be booked for groups of up to six people, including children.

· Information with your booking will be securely stored in line with NHS Test and Trace requirements.

· Unfortunately, we are not taking group bookings for schools and colleges at the moment. For further information visit, our Learn page.

Your Visit

· Arrive at our modern entrance on Spinningfields.

· Please arrive at the Rylands at the time stated on your entry ticket. If you arrive early or late, we will do our best to accommodate you, but you may be asked to wait.

· Queuing systems will be in place to guarantee social distancing

· We encourage you to wear a face covering inside the Rylands if you can.

· We ask that you are mindful of staff and other visitors and keep your distance where possible.

· We expect your visit to the Rylands to last 30 minutes.
