Event description

Description

Come along and join other young professionals and future leaders on a special evening tour of the Town House in Aberdeen on the 3rd October. Hidden away it is definately a must see of one of the most prominent and historical buildings in Aberdeen.

The Town House is a very beautiful building, built between 1867 and 1873. The Town House extension was added between 1975 and 1977 to meet the needs of the then developing District Court.

The Town House includes the St Nicholas Room, with its impressive armorial ceiling and the Town and County Hall in the medieval style with its ceiling reminiscent of Flemish influences. On the walls of both rooms there are a number of impressive paintings.

Other civic rooms include Bon Accord Room, a smaller dining room used by the Lord Provost on special occasions.

Numbers are limited so please RSVP for this event.
