Please meet the LRAC representative, Linda Anderson, at the main entrance at 11:45 am.

Once the top-secret home of the World War Two Codebreakers, Bletchley Park is now a vibrant heritage attraction. Immersive films, interactive displays, museum collections and faithfully recreated WW2 rooms will guide you on a journey to discover the past. Exhibitions, set within beautifully restored historic buildings tell the story of this once top-secret operation. This visit will provide an opportunity to find out more about the brilliant minds and complex machines that made this vital work possible and discover the global impact that Bletchley Park had on the outcome of WW2.

Our group will include Dr Martin Watts, a published military historian, who will deliver a talk before and after we leave the buildings to provide context and explanation respectively. As Bletchley Park has its own official guides, Martin will not be permitted to act as an LRAC guide, but he will be able to answer questions as we go round.

A visit to the National Museum of Computing which is located next to Bletchley Park is not included in this visit. It operates as a separate museum and it would be possible to organise a separate visit (maybe during the morning of LRAC’s trip), by calling 01908 374708.

The tickets issued for this tour will be converted into an Annual Pass to enable further visits to be made by individuals.

Footwear: in order to preserve and enhance Bletchley Park, including the historic floors around the site, visitors are requested not to wear sharp heeled shoes - heels which cover an area smaller than a postage stamp are not permitted.

Guide books: can be ordered in advance at a reduced price of £6 (standard cost £7). Please email artshumanities50@gmail.com to enquire.
