Admission to Bramall Hall

About this Event

Bramall Hall is one of England's most striking black and white timber-framed buildings. Set in 70 acres of parkland, this magnificent house has witnessed seven centuries of colourful history from Medieval beginnings to present day.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, we have put new measures in place in order to meet the new government guidance on social distancing and hygiene.

SOLD OUT! - HALLOWEEN 2020

THE WITCH'S POTION TRAIL

Suitable for ghosts and ghouls of all ages.

Potion trail £2 per child. Standard admission applies to accompanying adults.

All visitors MUST book an Admission tickets and a timeslot for visiting in advance.

Every member of your party MUST have a ticket.

THE POTION TRAIL IS AN 'ADD ON PRODUCT' AT POINT OF BOOKING YOUR ADMISSION TICKET.

Some of the changes that we have put in place include:

  • We are asking visitors to buy advance, timed tickets online, in order to adhere to track and trace requirements. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL VISITORS WILL NEED A TICKET INCLUDING CHILDREN. If there are visitors in your party without a ticket we are unable to guarantee your entry.
  • A maximum group size of SIX people from the same household/bubble group can be admitted together. This is in order to adhere to the governments guidelines for Tier 3 restrictions and to ensure that social distancing is possible at all times around the museum.
  • All visitors are required to supply and wear a face covering at all times when inside Bramall Hall, unless they have a legitimate reason for not doing so, such as a health condition that makes it difficult to wear a face covering. Young children under the age of 11 years old are exempt.
  • There are hand sanitising stations upon entering and exiting the museum and there are additional hand washing facilities in the bathrooms.
  • Online purchase of our excellent guide book. This will be available for collection on arrival at the Hall. We recommended the guide book as a great way to learn more about the Hall during your visit. Due to the new health and safety measures we cannot currently provide guided tours or interactive kiosks.
  • We have introduced additional cleaning protocols.

ACCESS:

Please note that there is no wheelchair or push chair access to the first and second floor of Bramall Hall due to the historic nature of the building. These floors are accessed by staircase.

PARKING:

Please note that parking at the Hall is limited and during busy periods such as the weekend and school holidays you may struggle to find parking. We advise that, if possible, you make alternative arrangements to get here to avoid disappointment.

Full information about changes that Stockport Museums have made to follow government COVID19 guidelines will be available on the Stockport Museums Service website: www.stockport.gov.uk/museums
