A special full-day visit to the Henry Moore Studios and Gardens in Hertfordshire for Kenwood Volunteers

About this event

In thanks for the amazing contribution that volunteers make to Kenwood House, we have organised a special visit to the Henry Moore Studios and Gardens in Hertfordshire for Kenwood Volunteers.

This will be a full-day event, including two amazing tour of Hoglands, Moore’s former home, and tour of the Aisled Barn, the Studios and Gardens, including an introduction to this year’s exhibition. Find out more about the place here: https://www.henry-moore.org/visit

Around these tours we will have time to sit together over a cup of tea, and to explore the grounds independently. We will arrange teas, coffees and biscuits. Please bring a packed lunch, or some picnicky items to share!

All Kenwood volunteers are welcome to join, and we hope this will be an opportunity to get to know volunteers that support various volunteering programmes at Kenwood (Explainer, Garden, Bookshop, Education, etc) and volunteers from different heritage and cultural venues.

Practical information:

The visit is our of London, so we are organising a coach from Kenwood House. We will depart from Kenwood House at 9.30am and return to Kenwood together at approximately 5pm. Please arrive early, so that you don't miss the group's departure!

There are 30 space available for this visit, so please book early.

If you are unable to secure a space on this event, rest assured there will be many more opportunities to meet with other volunteers and visit another historical venue or collection. The aspiration is for these visits to happen monthly.
