About this event
Exhibitions at Whitehall Historic House
From the permanent displays about the history of Whitehall, Cheam, Nonsuch Palace and the surrounding area, and of course the 500 year old building itself inside, to the distinct white weatherboarding, projecting upper storey, and sloping porch outside, Whitehall Historic House stands out as something special.
Join us as we commemorate the Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee with a curated exhibition:
Jubilee: Celebrating 70 Years
12 May - 30 July 2022
Thursday - Saturday 10am - 5pm
As part of the Borough's Jubilee celebrations to mark 70 years of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, this exhibition takes a wide-angle look at how Sutton has participated in marking key moments in the succession of monarchs from 1838 to the present day.
As well as showcasing images and objects from our collections, the exhibition also invites visitors to reflect on what 70 years of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign may mean to them, both culturally and personally.
