Description

The International Producers' Breakfast has become an important annual event for Scottish and international arts professionals working in or attending the Edinburgh Festivals, creating the opportunity for 200 producers, programmers and creators to come together, make new connections and sow seeds of collaboration, exchange and partnership for the coming year. The event is presented in partnership with Creative Scotland, Edinburgh International Festival, Asia-Europe Foundation, Clore Leadership Programme and Quebec Government Office in London.

The theme and debate of the International Producers’ Breakfast 2019 will focus on cultural leadership, empowering women in the arts, and funding streams of the future.

Accessibility:

  • BSL interpreters for the keynote will be: Paul Belmonte & Sarah-Jane Robinson - provided by Deaf Action
  • Wheelchair access from street level. Inside the theatre there is lift access to all levels. Lifts have voice synthesisers to assist visitors. Unisex accessible toilets on levels one and two. See more on facilities at Festival Theatre.

Invite a young leader!
Following on from Scotland's Year of Young People 2018, let's celebrate the influence and importance of young voices. We encourage you to take this as an opportunity to invite young leaders in the arts to join you at the Breakfast - be their mentor, make introductions and show them the ropes!



Registration

09:00 - 09:15 Collect your badge. Help yourself to complimentary tea, coffee, juice, and snacks (gf & vg options available).


Welcome & Keynote

09:15 - 09:45 This year Hilary Carty, Director of the Clore Leadership Programme and Alain Paré, CEO & Founder of CINARS will share their thoughts on the topic of cultural leadership We want your questions, perspectives and experience.


Networking

09:45 - 11:00 Look out for the check box on registering if you'd like to receive networking support facilitated with experienced ambassadors to help you promote your projects, discover new works and connect with potential work partners. Equally if you'd enjoy taking up the role as an ambassador this year let us know! An e-directory of participants will be distributed in advance to assist with networking prior to the event.


The event is FREE but capacity is limited. We will admit a maximum of 3 attendants per organisation, please provide details for each individual when registering. We welcome people with disabilities and registrants from minority groups and prioritise where possible. A BSL interpreter will be provided for the keynote.


If the event is fully booked, please add your name to the waitlist as more tickets may be released closer to the event.
