Visual Artists Ireland (Brian Kielt) - Information Session

Brian Kielt is Visual Artists Ireland’s Advocacy & Advice Officer for Northern Ireland and the organisation’s Shared Island Advocate, developing programmes that connect visual artists with arts organisations across the island. Based in Mid‑Ulster, he has over fifteen years’ experience in the Northern Ireland arts sector. As a painter, he has exhibited widely, and as co‑founder and co‑manager of LOFT Studios in Belfast, he ran an artist‑led space hosting events in partnership with other arts organisations. Within VAI, Brian delivers advice and support to artists, coordinates help‑desk sessions, and contributes to the design and delivery of workshops, clinics, peer forums, and cross‑border collaboration initiatives.
