What is visual merchandising? Why is it relevant for museum retail outlets? Planning the shop layout, using fixtures and props, and display techniques are every bit as important as getting your numbers right when you want to run a resilient retail outlet.
In this workshop, trainer Lynda Murray will cover the science and basic principles of good visual merchandising, the power behind telling stories through merchandise, and show how this can be achieved effectively. Lynda is an innovative and multi-disciplined retailer with over 20 years’ retail experience in premium department stores and High Street multiples. She was formerly Director of Visual Merchandising at House of Fraser.
If you run a heritage retail outlet, this course is a must for your organisation.
This course is also available as part of our Retail Resilience Programme which includes three proactive workshops delivered by a team of cultural retail experts, covering finance, buying and visual merchandising in a practical and engaging way.
The bundle option offers greater value for money with 20% off the standard price of booking multiple individual sessions. For museum staff and volunteers the bundle costs £192 and for non-museum sector it costs £312.
