Francisco de Miranda was a remarkable man, being involved in the American War of Independence, the French Revolution and the Spanish and American Wars of Independence, but he spent much of his life in London. In 1810 a new generation of revolutionaries led by Simon Bolivar and Andres Bello visit Miranda in London in a bid to win support from the British for the South American rebellion against the Spanish.
