We will be welcoming Joanna Foat the UK expert on the Women’s Timber Corps, author of three books, a history book, photobook and novel on the Lumberjills, with one more on the way. She has given nearly two hundred talks, written an exhibition on the Lumberjills for Forestry England, colllaborated with the Royal Albert Hall for the VE Day 80 Party and been interviewed on BBC Radio 4 Woman’s Hour, TV’s How We Won The War, Walking Wartime Britain, BBC South TV and Dan Snow’s History Hit Podcast among many others.
Following Joanna's updated talk afternoon tea will be served.
