Join us for the next Virtual Learning Café hosted by the Youth Endowment Fund – part of our Evidence in Practice series.
This session will explore what available evidence looks like currently in its various form. YEF will share current insights about the roll youth work plays in reducing violence. As youth work plays a critical role in supporting vulnerable young people, we will be joined by key sector voices and funders who will reflect on their emerging findings and practice thinking about how we can collectively work towards a stronger, evidence-informed future for youth work.
Whether you fund, commission, deliver, or research youth provision, this session will offer insight into the national picture and what’s needed to support and scale impactful practice.
Guest speakers include: 🎤 Alux Stutz, National Youth Agency 🎤 Representative, Department for Culture, Media and Sport 🎤 Jacob Diggle, UK Youth 🎤 Paul Lidell, BBC Children in Need
At the session, you’ll:
- Gain a high-level view of the current evidence base for youth work in the UK.
- Hear directly from leading organisations and funders about what they’re learning and prioritising.
- Explore where the biggest gaps and opportunities lie in evaluation, funding, and delivery.
- Consider how evidence can better support youth workers and improve outcomes for children.
- Connect with peers committed to advancing evidence-informed practice across the sector
The event will run online using MS Teams on Thursday 23rd October 2025, 10:30-12:00.
