Vocal confidence is essential for social and professional success and for developing our highest potential which requires asking for what we need and expressing ourselves with assurance.
These classes on Tuesdays between 6.30pm and 8.30pm are for unique individuals who sometimes struggle to be heard, whether with friends, colleagues, in relationships or just in the course of everyday interactions. Do you want to be able to present confidently to a group of people, ask for the changes you need at work, socialise with ease and flair, feel less inhibition with your personal self-expression?
Developing vocal confidence is a creative, freeing and fun process whose impact will be felt in all areas of your life. The classes take place in a 100% supportive environment where progress is accelerated and creative connections are made. We will be learning something new each week (each lesson explores a different aspect vocal communication) having fun with drama and trust exercises, improvisation, creating characters, storytelling, authentic communication exercises, voice projection techniques and supported presentation exercises, drawing also on the vocal presentation methods of renowned vocal coach Patsy Rodenberg.
By attending classes you will:
- develop more confidence and enjoyment speaking in a group
- get more in touch with your unique powers of self-expression and tap in to your channel of creativity
- free up and have fun with your voice, and discover your most natural and healthy voice
-find and start developing the voice the kind of voice and presence you want
-develop more vocal power and better presenting skills for public speaking
-open the channel to being able to communicate more authentically with others, for improved relationships
Taking place in a fantastic warehouse space near Tower Bridge station, these workshops are ideal for a mid-week pick up and confidence boost. The classes have been planned to be of benefit to both complete beginners as well as improvers and people who have done improvisation and vocal training before and are looking to expand and challenge themselves further. You can drop in, try a class, and if you like it, come back as and when you can.
