Vocal Workshop Experience: Autumn Sing [5 Sessions]

Explore your voice in a supportive and uplifting environment.
Led by vocal coach Nathan Devonte, this 5-week vocal improv course is open to everyone - whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced singer looking for a new challenge.

Each relaxed and enjoyable session will help you build confidence, develop vocal technique, and experience the joy of singing in harmony with others. There’s no pressure or expectation - just a chance to discover the power of your voice in a friendly, welcoming space.

As a special highlight, the course features a guest visit from UK R&B vocalist Terri Walker, who will share her insights and inspiration with the group.

Nathan is a dynamic vocal leader with over a decade of experience in performance and music education. Trained at The BRIT School and with a BA in Commercial Music, he has worked with artists including Chaka Khan, Anthony Hamilton, Shingai Shoniwa (Noisettes), Omar Lye-Fook, Ed Sheeran, Heather Small and Lemar. He curates and leads vocal projects for organisations such as Southbank Centre, ND Vocal Ensemble, Britten Pears Arts and Catford Community Choir, supporting singers of all levels to build confidence, develop their skills and experience the joy of singing.

Our weekly sessions will take place on Pomeroy Street, in a convenient 1st-floor venue above Budgens (go through the store to access the space). Easily accessible from New Cross Gate, Peckham Queens Road, and Old Kent Road, the space is well-equipped for a comfortable and inclusive experience.

Facilities include:

• Step-free access via both stairs and a lift.
• Accessible toilet on-site.
• WiFi access for your convenience.
• Refreshments and food available for purchase downstairs.

Late Arrivals

The early birds catch the vibes! Please arrive no later than 30 minutes late, this helps us create a trusting-safe space, where everyone can sing from the depths of our diaphragmatic muscles.

Cancellations

Tickets are refundable up to 7 days before the event. After that, we'll roll it over to a future session to keep the music alive and our project sustainable. Feeling under the weather? If you’ve got flu, cold, or any kind of covid symptoms, rest up at home and rebook in for another session. We’ll miss you, and I'll be ready to coach when you have fully recovered!
