INVITATION TO YOU

Beginning in March this year I am diving deeper into the world of voicework with a one-year training in Singing for Health and Wellbeing, exploring new paradigms in Singing Therapy with Tonalis. I’d like to offer a weekly space for vocal exploration, therapeutic voice exercises with deepening the work with Eastern European harmonies and other therapeutic songs.

WHAT WILL WE LEARN?

-The potential for this work is very rich, offering dedicated time to.

- Explore our relationship to our voices and our breath

-Practice releasing blocked energy

-Experiment with stress releasing techniques to free our voices

-Learn how to sing polyphonic songs in a small group

-Strengthen and broaden our vocal range

-Build our confidence in singing and performing

-Deepen our relationship with Eastern European Songs

We will do this during our journey together by exploring a range of vocal warm-ups, breath and body techniques and learning some of the polyphonic structures of Eastern European singing.

Bringing this treasure trove of beautiful songs about nature, enchanted forests, villages, seas, and rivers. Lena’s passion for these songs is as infectious as the songs themselves, and a key part of what she describes as her ‘beautiful heritage’.
