Voice Workshop- Beyond Singing

Friday dates: 15 July, 22 July, 29 July, and 5 August.

Each session is 2 pm to 6 pm.

Facilitator: holistic vocal coach Elena Papaioannou.

We suggest attending the 4 sessions as a deeper and more complete exploration of the theme, however, each session is also available on a drop-in basis.

An exciting exploration of our personal sounds. Through breathing, movement & voice exercises, and improvisation.

Through the exploration of your own sounds and ways of expression, you will embark on a personal journey that will lead you to a better relationship with yourself and a more balanced and mindful life.

This workshop is a presentation- initiation to a holistic voice work approach, a first step to finding our own path in Musicality and vocal expression.

The work can include stretching, movement, dance, body alignment work, and relaxation.

The immediate practical results of this work are a stronger less restricted voice and contact with greater sources of imagination and means of expression.

Contents of the workshops:

Body-breathing exercises, Voice training, Improvisation with voice and movement, Voice journeys for discovering and developing the voice, and topics around the voice

Elena will guide you to self-expression and the discovery & development of your own unique voice.
