North Wales’ longest-running spoken word night comes to Conwy for a trio of Winter Sound gigs!
Join the open mic, discover new and exciting local talent, and experience the warmth of creativity in community-rooted venues across the county this winter with Voicebox.

🔥 Headliner: Shaneo

Get ready for a headline set from Shaneo, a versatile rapper, singer, and songwriter from Colwyn Bay. Performing across the UK both solo and as part of UAM (Underground Artist Movement), Shaneo delivers heartfelt, hard-hitting lyrics with rhythm and realness.

🎶 Featuring: Oz & Jovi-Rose

Oz brings thought-provoking lyricism born from teenage curiosity and cosmic wonder. His music dives deep into philosophical and spiritual themes while keeping heads nodding and hearts open. A proud UAM artist, Oz channels life’s absurdity into poetic groove.

Jovi-Rose, a singer-songwriter from Rhos-on-Sea, blends soulful vocals with raw emotion and a rock-infused edge. Her honest lyrics and intimate sound have made her a rising name in the North Wales scene.

🌊 Special Guest: Armand

19-year-old rapper and poet Armand (from Dwygyfylchi, Penmaenmawr) is inspired by UK grime, DnB, 90s hip-hop and trap. Armand’s performances are equal parts thought-provoking and entertaining.
