VOICEBOX by Escúchame is coming to London! A space for Drag, Singing, Standup, Music, Poetry, Dance, Monologue, Theatre Scratches, Comedy Sketches, Burlesque, Cabaret, Live Painting, Open DJ Decks - whatever! It's a new space for raw, experimental, joyful, safe, queer-first performance.
Grown as an intimate grassroots gathering in Barcelona, Escúchame has become a staple for the city’s queer artists and performers to share music, poetry, drag, comedy, dance, and experimental live art in front of supportive audiences. It is a vibrant hub for queer creativity, connection, and expression.
Now, VoiceBox is bringing the same energy to London: a raw, cross-genre performance night centring queer and underrepresented voices. Expect music, spoken word, drag, live art, and surprises that defy category - performed by both London-based artists and special guests from Barcelona’s queer scene.
More than a show, VoiceBox is a community: creating a supportive environment where audiences and artists come together, celebrate each other, and share in something unique. Whether you’re performing or coming to discover and support queer artists, you’ll be part of the energy that makes these nights so special.
