Final CELEBRATE Event

Join us for a day of inspiration and learning as we gather academics, research experts, industry leaders, parents, teachers, young individuals, and influential voices who are passionate about improving mental health research in young people.

A key highlight of the event will be the presentation of our Framework, led by our Youth Working Group Experts (YEWG), showcasing their innovative ideas and contributions, emphasising the importance of youth involvement in mental health research and highlighting their role in the CELEBRATE Project.

Members of the YEWG will also share how to better study the biology and mental health in young people, looking at how they prefer to be approached about research, what makes them interested to stay involved, what roles they would like to play in research teams, and what benefits they see from taking part.

So, whether you're a student, a professional, or simply interested in mental health, this event is a unique opportunity to connect with likeminded individuals, exchange ideas, and be inspired by the passion and dedication of our researchers.

Led by a team of dedicated researchers, CELEBRATE aims to create a "Framework of Guiding Principles" that empowers young people, alongside parents and teachers, to shape how biological and mental health research is conducted. By promoting youth voices, this project redefines research design and fosters meaningful participation, ensuring findings reflect the diverse experiences of UK adolescents.
