Voluntary & Community Forum - 12 - 3pm
The Forum is a regular networking and information event for voluntary and community organisations featuring speakers, news and funding updates.
The theme this time is funding. There will be information and tips on raising funds and applying for grants, a chance to share experiences with other community organisations and hear directly from Big Lottery and Lincolnshire Community Foundation about their grant programmes, what they expect from applications, and pitfalls to avoid.
Find out direct from the Big Lottery how your organisation could benefit from this year's changes to their grant programmes, including Reaching Communities and Awards for All.
There is also the opportunity for you to share information about your own organisation’s services, projects and promote local events.
'Join the Dots' - 3pm - 6pm
The Forum will be followed by 'Join the Dots' - a funding and information seminar event from 3pm - 6pm, which will provide an opportunity for you to talk to funders and other support providers in more detail about your group's needs. This event is being run in partnership with Lincolnshire County Council and offers an opportunity for a whole range of local groups to come together and share ideas.
Both events are free to attend, but as the Forum includes lunch for catering purposes places do need to be booked in advance. Please do advise us of any specific dietary requirements when registering, or phone us on 01529 308450.
Please note that for all our events there may be a cancellation fee if you register for a place but don't attend or give us reasonable notice of cancellation.
