About this event

  • 30 minutes

We are looking for volunteers to support pupils from low-income backgrounds in English or maths. Education in this country isn’t fair. If you are from a poorer socio-economic background, you’re less likely to pass your SATs or GCSEs, limiting future opportunities.

By volunteering for just one hour a week, you will support children to build their confidence and help ensure they leave school with the grades needed to build a bright future, as well as developing your own skills.

Please apply on our website - https://actiontutoring.org.uk/get-involved/volunteer/

If you’re interested in helping but want to learn a bit more about online volunteering with us first, this event is for you:

Join the first 15 minutes for a presentation about why Action Tutoring exists and what volunteering with us entails. In the second 15 minutes, you’ll have the opportunity to talk with one of our friendly staff members and any questions you may have.

To attend, please sign up with your preferred email on Eventbrite. That way, we’ll be able to send you an email with the zoom details, next steps, and a recording of the presentation if you can’t make it on the day.
