Be Part of Something Incredible – Volunteer for Our 45th Anniversary Hike!
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support a brand-new challenge event celebrating 45 years of care – a spectacular 30-mile hike from Yeovil Hospice to Taunton Hospice.
Taking place across stunning off-road routes through the Somerset countryside, this full-day event (6am–8pm) will bring together determined walkers, amazing scenery, and plenty of community spirit. To make it all happen, we need you!
You’ll be part of a friendly team, keep the energy high, and help create an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

Date: 21 September
Times: Shifts from 6am to 8pm
Roles:
- Marshals along the route (walking roles available for distances of up to 10km)
- Manning pit stops and cheering walkers on
- Helping with check-in and registration
- Serving refreshments at key rest points.
