Come along to the Big Volunteer Charity Fair!
Are you still searching for a meaningful New Year's Resolution? If you are or are searching for a rewarding way to help local charities and communities then why not come along to our Volunteer Charity Fair. The Festival of Spirituality and Peace and EIFA are showcasing ten different charities based in and around Edinburgh, on Saturday, 12th January 2013 in the Hall at St. John’s Church.
Doors are open from 1pm to 5.30pm, giving a chance to faith- and non-faith related local charities to present themselves and their causes and for people to engage with them to learn more about their projects and fields of action. The Festival of Spirituality and Peace is delighted to welcome representatives of
the Edinburgh Cyrenians,
the Edinburgh Interfaith Association
and a few more.
We will begin with a first introduction to all charities followed by a tea and coffee break and more opportunities to talk to all representatives throughout the afternoon at their individual stalls.
You can find more information about the Volunteer Charity Fair by contacting Annika at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
Come along, join us and learn more about some great charities and their amazing causes
When & Where
The Festival of Spirituality and Peace
Our aim is to encourage community by exploring diversity. We don't all have to agree but it doesn't need to be a problem. FoSP provides a platform for people to explore their own spirituality by engaging with other people's, to promote peace.
FoSP is one of Edinburgh's most exciting and diverse Festivals. It features 300 activities in 200 events across 15 venues each year in August. With top-quality speakers, conversations, performances, film, food, exhibitions, family activities, workshops, art, culture and more the festival is now looking forward to its twelfth year.
